On Saturday, March 30th, Ibex Club will be hosting an outdoor service project with up to 15 members with the Trinity River Audubon Center. We will be helping the center remove invasive plant species, plant native grasses, and assisting with trail maintenance.

The center is located just ten miles south of downtown Dallas and provides a gateway to explore the amazing resources of the 6,000-acre Great Trinity Forest, the largest urban hardwood forest in the United States, which supports a diverse community of plant and animal species and contains a unique mixture of bottomland hardwoods, wetlands and grasslands.

From its inception in 2008, Trinity River Audubon Center has been welcoming visitors to its sanctuaries and inviting them to participate in nature education programs. The center is a nonprofit organization that is supported, in part, by funds from the City of Dallas Park and Recreation Department. To learn more, visit trinityriver.audubon.org.
